At Med 44 Arcadia, we believe in rejuvenating the health of skin.  We offer the legendary Sciton Mjoule laser platform that offers broadband light (BBL) and enhanced High Energy Rapid Output (HERO) technology. This allows our clinical providers to treat visible signs of aging on the face and body, with precision and comfort. BBL treatments are incredible for addressing acne (BBL Clear), sun spots and uneven skin tone, and sider veins. Patients should refrain from direct sun exposure for two weeks prior to treatment. After a BBL appointment, patients will gradually see improved skin tone, texture and fullness. A series if often recommended for full correction, anti aging and to treat fine lines and wrinkles. We often recommend a series of combination treatments of BBL, Vivace RF Micro Needling and Moxi Laser for glowing, healthy skin.

At Med 44 Arcadia, our Sciton Mjoule laser offers a gentle fractionated laser treatment called Moxi. This treatment is designed to effectively treat visible signs of aging with minimal downtime. Within one to three Moxi treatments, patient achieve a more even skin tone and radiant complexion.  In a quick fifteen-to-twenty-minute procedure, our Moxi laser offers light resurfacing to address fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, melasma, acne and acne scaring. Moxi can be used on the face, neck, chest, arms, legs, and abdomen to improve skin quality.  A series of Moxi treatments, combined with our favorite Med 44 services, including BBL, IPL, Sofwave Ultrasound Lifting, and Vivqce RF Microneedling provide natural and long lasting results.

Vivace is the newest generation of RF (Radio Frequency) Micro Needling. It stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin in the skin by combining radio frequency energy with micro needling.  Vivace treats fine lines, wrinkles, and acne, while improving the overall tone and texture of the skin. It is a safe and effective skin rejuvenation treatment for the face, neck, decolletage, hands, arms, knees and buttocks. Vivace treatments are FDA approved, have minimal downtime and are safe for the treatment of all skin types. At Med 44, we recommend a series of three or more Vivace RF Micro Needling sessions, depending on the skin conditions being treated. To boost your Vivace results, we often combine it with IPL Photo Facial, Sofwave Ultrasound Lifting, Exosomes, Hydrafacial, or a Medical Grade ZO Brightening Mask. Vivace is one of our Med 44 most loved treatments due to it’s reliable results, minimal downtime and for overall patient comfort. Vivace is similar to other RF Micro Needling Treatments including Morpheus 8, Scarlet, Virtue RF, Sylfirm, and The Secret.

Sofwave Ultrasound the latest device to receive FDA approval for a lifting skin treatment. It delivers Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ technology in a comfortable one-hour appointment. Sofwave improves skin quality by reducing fine lines and wrinkles and lifts the eyebrows, neck, and submental (under the chin) area. Results can be seen after a one session, and it is a safe year-round treatment, for all skin types. Sofwave is similar to other lifting treatments like Ultherapy, but is tolerated better by patients. For the body, Sofwave is FDA approved for the treatment of cellulite. In addition to the face and neck, Sofwave is used for skin tightening of the abdomen, knees, thighs and buttock. We recommend combining a Sofwave treatment with your RF Micro Needling Series for tighter, brighter, lifted results.

Radio frequency (RF) Skin Resurfacing is an energy-based skin treatment that improves overall skin tone and texture. Viva RF treats enlarged pores, congested skin, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and stretch marks. With RF Resurfacing, a series of treatments is often recommended, spaced four to six weeks apart. Viva is a comfortable treatment with topical numbing applied prior to treatment. With RF, the treatment is safe for all skin types. Patients experience mild warmth and redness to the skin after treatment, which subsides within a few hours after treatment. A micro peeling processes takes place for three to five days after treatment, with minimal to no visible downtime. For patients with texture skin concerns, scarring, or deeper wrinkles, we recommend combining Viva RF Resurfacing with Vivace RF Micro Needling and Exosomes in the same treatment. Viva is similar to other resurfacing treatments like Moxi, Halo, Cool Peel, and Fraxel. A Viva RF Resurfacing is a comfortable treatment that offers amazing results to skin texture.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy, also known as a Photo Facial, is a skin treatment that improves the overall skin tone, pigmentation, and vascular pigment (from blood vessels) on the face and body. The light is attracted to pigment in the skin and creates a brown or micro crusting effect with treatment. We recommend scheduling IPL treatments a minimum of two weeks before or after any sun tanning or elongated sun exposure. A series of IPL treatments can be recommended for patients with moderate to severe sun damage or vascular pigment. We often combine IPL with Vivace RF Micro Needling, traditional Micro Needling, Hydrafacials, or chemical peels to accelerate and enhance results. IPL is similar to BBL (Broad Band Light) treatments. A consultation is required to determine which light therapy treatment is appropriate for your skin type.

Micro needling is a noninvasive skin treatment that stimulates collagen and improves cell turnover. At Med 44, we use the Candela Exceed Micro Needling device (as seen on Skin Decisions with Dr. Sheila Nazarian). Micro Needling is a quick and comfortable treatment that is safe for all skin types. A series is often recommended to create firmer, smooth, glowing skin over time. Micro needling is used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, pigmentation, dull, dehydrated skin, enlarged pores, and acne.

Results of micro needling treatment can be enhanced when used in combination with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), ZO Brightening or Firming Skin Boosters, or Exosomes. These enhancing options expedite the healing process of tissue, reduce the appearance of pigmentation and acne scarring when used with micro needling. The Exceed Micro Needling Device is similar to the Skin Pen but provides more precise needling for less downtime.

Our HydraFacial treatment is delivered through the latest medical grade facial technology using the Syndeo device. The new and improved HydraFacial Syndeo uses a unique, patented Vortex-Fusion technology that cleans, exfoliate, extract and polish your skin. In a relaxing and painless sixty-minute appointment, our providers will customize each step of your HydraFacial to meet your skincare goals. Our Hydrafacial treatment includes all the extras of Dermaplaning, Lymphatic drainage, an upgraded skin booster, and Lightsim LED therapy. Hydrafacial is similar to other treatments including hydra dermabrasion, the Salt Facial, the Oxygen Facial (OxyGeneo Facial) and the Diamond Glow Facial. At Med 44 we love the hydrafacial results for the face, neck, and scalp (using Keravive Hydrafacial). We recommend a Hydrafacial for monthly skin exfoliation and hydration, prior to any special event, and in between RF or Laser treatments to enhance results.

Medical Grade Chemical Peels are an essential part of a healthy skin care regimen and can be used in reversing sun damage or other skin imperfections. Medical Grade Chemical Peels come in different strengths and formulations to address a variety of common skin concerns. At Med 44 we love the precisely formulated results of ZO Skin Health Medical Grade Peels. We offer the full assort of ZO Chemical Peels to address pigmentation, acne, redness, fine lines, wrinkles and texture. Many of the peels have minimal to no downtime or visible downtime. For patients who prefer to peel, we offer stronger formulations with up to five days of visible peeling. We often combine medical grade chemical peels with an IPL Photofacial, Micro Needling, Hydrafacial, or a Dermaplane to enhance results. ZO Skin Health Peels are similar to other popular chemical the Perfect Peel, Vi Peel, AOX P3, and Unicorn Facial.

A dermaplane treatment has no downtime and lightly removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz from the face and neck. Prior to treatment your skin is cleansed to remove make up and oils. A small aesthetic scalpel is used to remove the stratnum corneum dead skin layer. Dermaplaning is a very comfortable treatment that is good for all skin types. Patients with severe acne should refrain from dermaplane treatments. Post dermaplane, your skin is able to absorb chemical peels, boosters and serums more effectively. We recommend dermaplane in combination with a Hydrafacial, Chemical Peel, IPL Photofacial or prior to photoshoots and special events. A dermaplane is similar to a microdermabrasion treatment, with the adding benefit of remove peach fuzz. We recommend a dermaplane treatment every four to six weeks to remove dead skin cells, improve product penetration and enhance overall skin health.
