Which Neurotoxin is right for you?
Botox
Botox is one of the most notable names in the medical industry, approved by the FDA in 2002 as a temporary aesthetic treatment for moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles.

Botox is a purified protein used to relax muscles in the face, neck, and decolletage by temporarily softening facial expressions that create fine lines and wrinkles.
At Med 44, treatment may be achieved in a 30 minute or less office visit and requires minimal downtime.
• Most commonly treated areas include frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, lip lines, gummy smile, chin dimpling, neck bands, and neck lines.
• Effects of Botox may be noticed within five to fourteen days of injection, with benefits lasting up to 3-4 months.
• Botox may also be used to treat other medical conditions, such as chronic migraines, neck spasms (Cervical Dystonia), excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis), and pain in the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, known as TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction).
Daxxify
A longer lasting Neuromodulator, uniquely powered by peptides to prevent frown lines. On average, Daxxify lasts about twice as long as other Neuromodulators, such as Botox, or Dysport.
The active ingredient in DAXXIFY® is a purified protein called botulinum toxin type A and is FDA-approved to smooth moderate to severe lines between the brows. It is the only long-lasting frown line treatment powered by a peptide with results that last on average 6 months and up to 9 months for some.*

Dysport, like Botox, is an anti-wrinkle skin injection approved by the FDA in 2009 as a temporary aesthetic treatment for moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles in the face, neck, and decollete.
