On July 17th, Med 44 Arcadia welcomed the second speaker of our Hot Girl Summer Series — Jennifer Monninger, a licensed clinical social worker and AASECT-certified sex therapist. The focus of the evening: deepening our relationship with ourselves and others through open conversation around connection, intimacy, and sex therapy.
In a warm and supportive setting, Jennifer guided guests through one of the most important — and often most misunderstood — aspects of wellness: emotional and sexual intimacy. With compassion, clinical expertise, and a refreshing dose of realness, she helped attendees break through cultural shame and internalized stigma to embrace a more empowered view of their relationships and sexuality.
The event created a rare space where women could ask real questions without judgment, reflect on their own experiences, and leave feeling not only more informed, but also more seen. It was an evening filled with insight, laughter, and even a few emotional breakthroughs — a reminder that vulnerability is strength, and connection is a vital part of health.
In a culture that often oversimplifies or avoids conversations about sex and intimacy, this session was a much-needed reset. Jennifer reminded us that true wellness isn’t just about fitness or clean eating — it’s about how we relate to ourselves and others at the deepest levels.
As part of the Hot Girl Summer Series, this event aligned perfectly with our mission at Med 44 Arcadia: to support whole-person wellness and create a space where women can explore every layer of their health — physical, emotional, sexual, and beyond.
This summer, we’re not just glowing — we’re growing.
Stay tuned for more incredible sessions in the Hot Girl Summer Series. Each event brings something new to the table, featuring expert-led conversations and practical tools for women who are ready to take charge of their health and live with intention.
